Metal-Matic contracted Holt & Reichard, Inc. to build a machine base for their new ASMAG pipe pulling and finishing machine. The foundation is approximately 375’ long with various embedded steel elements. The main portion of the machine sits on W12X65 I-beams with #6 rebar installed through the beam’s web. This project involved many challenges including an aggressive time frame and tight tolerances. Portions of the new machine were being installed as work continued on the remaining portion of the foundation. At completion, Holt & Reichard, Inc. finished the project on-time and on budget.
